Earl Stephenson, Sr Pastor
Earl was raised on a farm south of Hobart, Oklahoma. His daddy was a bricklayer and farmer. His mom stayed home and raised Earl and his three siblings. Earl and his wife Nancy met when they were in third grade. Earl enjoys all types of sports. He walks over three miles almost every day and occasionally rides his bicycle and plays tennis. During the winter months he enjoys hunting pheasant in Kansas and chasing bobwhite quail in Oklahoma.
Earl began his ministry at Weatherford First Baptist Church on August 5, 2001. He was licensed to preach in the Washington Street Baptist Church in Hobart, Oklahoma at the age of fourteen and ordained to the ministry at age twenty-one by the same church. He has served as pastor of the First Baptist Church, Holdenville, Oklahoma (1993-2001); Harmony Baptist Church, Atoka, Oklahoma (1983-1993); Associate Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Hobart, Oklahoma (1979-1980); and pastor of the Bessie Baptist Mission, Bessie, Oklahoma (1977-1979). He has served as a trustee for Oklahoma Baptist University and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma.
He and Nancy have two grown children – Jason and Lynn.

John Hogan, Worship Pastor
John began serving at FBC on June 21, 2015. After coaching and teaching for five years in public education, John committed to full-time vocational ministry. Since 1995, he has served on church staffs in the areas of Worship Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Education Minister. Both John and his wife, Stephanie, graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Stephanie teaches English and is a great mom to two sons, Caleb and Cade. John enjoys spending time with family, water and snow skiing, basketball, volleyball, reading, and working outside.
It is John's desire to invest his life into the lives of others, to see God's people grow in personal and corporate worship, to build relationships, to equip believers for ministry, and to make disciples who make disciples.
He has served churches in Texas including Abilene, Breckenridge, Littlefield, and Decatur.

Tracy Ward, Missions and Outreach Pastor
Tracy began serving at FBC on November 1, 2014. He has served in a combination of Student and Missions ministry for the last 24 years. He met his wife, Kathleen, at Hardin-Simons University in Abilene, Texas, and they were married in 1988. Kathleen has a degree in Business Marketing as well as her teaching certification in Elementary Education. She currently teaches 2nd grade. They have two daughters: Malorie (Myers) is a teacher in OKCPS and Madison (1996) attends Oklahoma State University. Tracy enjoys both watching and participating in just about all sports. His hobbies include traveling, cycling, Kansas Jayhawks basketball, and anything that lets him spend time with his family.
He has served in churches in Baton Rouge, LA; Duncan, OK; Amarillo, TX; and Kingfisher, OK.

James Poulain, Youth Pastor
James began serving at FBC on July 5, 2016. He grew up in Bixby, OK and graduated from Bixby High School.
While attending Oklahoma State University he met his caring, organized, and servant-hearted wife Sandy. What began as a college courtship has now (by God's grace) blossomed into a family of five. Their kids, from oldest to youngest, are Grayson, Audrey, and Ben. Sandy currently works diligently and tirelessly at home.
James surrenedered to Christ, in faith, at the age of 8. He grew up in Parkview Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. James served as a Youth Intern at Quail Springs Baptist Church in OKC. From there, James went to Kansas City to attend seminary while working full time as a Fire Protection Engineer. After completing seminary James entered full-time, vocational ministry at Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, OK where he served as Associate Pastor and Student Minister.

Scott Townley, University/Education Pastor
Scott began serving at FBC on August 1, 2017. He is the youngest of 4 children (2 sisters and a 1 brother). Both of his parents were public school teachers for over 30 years. Scott taught 2 years of history before going into full-time ministry. He has served in ministry for the last 6 years. He met his wife, Katy, at Collegiate Week in Glorieta, New Mexico in 2005. They were married in May 2008. Katy currently teaches as an adjunct professor at SWOSU in the Kinesiology department. They have two children: Livia (born Oct. 2013) and Harrison (born July 2015). Scott enjoys spending time on SWOSU’s campus watching any and all types of events and has discovered a somewhat recent interest in the art of coffee. His hobbies include basketball, jogging, family bike rides, reading, and watching sports.
Scott has served in ministry at h2o Church in Bowling Green, Ohio and Christian Challenge at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.

Savannah Schones, Director of Preschool/ Children
Savannah began serving at FBC in April 2017. She grew up in Weatherford and earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she minored in Child Development Psychology. While attending SWOSU she met her husband, Paul, and the two were married in 2005. They are blessed with two very fun-loving children, Aubree and Easton. Savannah’s hobbies include reading, photography, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her family.
