Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
The purpose of Women on Mission is to help women fulfill their biblical purpose of loving Jesus, developing deep friendships with other Christians, and serving the world and community in Christ's name.
These purposes are fulfilled by 1) Loving Jesus - Bible studies, promoting and encouraging participation in retreats and through worship services. 2) Making friends - small group studies, monthly meetings, fellowship nights: fall and angel projects, praying for one another 3) Serving the world and our community: Christmas in August, making bags for DHS, meals for BCM, fulfilling needs of the mission field wherever it is needed.

Christmas in August
GA/RA Kickoff, Missions Emphasis, and collection of school supplies for our local schools. Find out how you can get connected.
History of Christmas in August
In 1927, missionary Elizabeth Hundley asked U.S. Christians to collect Christmas gifts for mothers and children in China. These gifts had to be shipped by August to arrive by Christmas; thus, Christmas in August was born. Today, our church collects supplies for our local schools. Every LifeGroup has been assigned at least one school supply to donate. Please help our local schools by donating through your LifeGroup. A list of supplies is also available at the Welcome Center.
