Go therefore and make disciples of all nations
Matthew 28:19
“Life is too short, the need is too great and the mission is too important to waste our time on anything less than continual, intentional, biblical, strategic, honest conversations about how to get the Gospel to unreached men, women and children."

SLC Summer Intern Testimony
“Serving this summer with HopeValley Church was a blessing. From door hangers and hosting events in the park, to prayer walks and school outreach, each of these opportunities allowed the church to form relationships with the people of West Jordan. Simple acts such as giving out popcorn in the parks or playing kickball with the neighborhood kids paved the way for Gospel conversations in a very dark and broken place. Our main role was to help lead ministry activities for mission teams who served alongside HopeValley this summer. While this internship was a blast, it also allowed for my own personal growth and provided experiences I couldn’t get elsewhere. HopeValley’s ministry does not end after the summer is over. Please continue to be in prayer for HopeValley Church and all that they do to serve the community of West Jordan throughout the rest of the year. Thank you, church, for supporting Carson and I as we served in Utah!” - Hanna Dirickson
What ministries does FBC Support?
First Baptist Church is incredibly giving. 18% of the church budget is sent out from the church. As a church we designate 10% of all giving to the Cooperative Program. On top of that we give 4% of our overall budget to global mission partners and projects. This means over $125,000 goes directly from FBC Weatherford to the nation and the world for missions ministries.
FBC also values the many local ministries that are here in our community. As a church we designate 4% of our overall budget to help advance the various projects and ministries of our communities that many of you are involved in. Check out this list of ministry partners:
